Aidan is a co-founder and Director of GIANT Tennis, and the Head of Coaching. He has extensive experience in all levels of tennis coaching from Hot Shots program to traveling and coaching young people on the junior Australian Pro Tour. Aidan is a Tennis Australia certified Club Master Professional coach, Cardio Tennis and ANZ Tennis Hot Shots approved coach. Aidan played College Tennis in the USA, toured Europe playing tournaments and has achieved high level results in singles and doubles. Aidan through his playing and coaching experiences, has developed our programs to ensure current methodologies and all GIANT Tennis students have a vision to reach their personal tennis goals.
Brandt is a co-founder and Director of GIANT Tennis.
He has extensive experience in all levels of tennis coaching, from the Hot Hits program to squad and tournament play students. Brandt is an Australian Tennis Professional Coaches Association (ATPCA) Advance Professional Level 2 Tennis Coach. Bachelor Degrees in Business and Computing also hold in him good stead to manage the administration of GIANT Tennis. Brandt has also played and coached senior football over a 13 year career, which brings a lot of experience on and off the court to GIANT Tennis.
Steve is a Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach, with over 40 years of professional tennis coaching experience! He is a well respected and proficient member of the Bendigo coaching scene, having coached at the BTA for 21 years, prior to joining the GIANT Team. Highlights over that time include coordinating 10 tennis camps to the Gold Coast and taking a touring team to France in 2016. Steve's enthusiasm and professionalism towards his own development and that of his students offers great benefits to our GIANT Community.
Jordan started playing tennis at the age of 13 and has developed his power game to become one of Bendigo's top male players, leading teams to numerous Premier League titles.
Jordan coached with Steve for 4 years at the Bendigo Tennis Academy, and has recently graduated from Exercise Science at Latrobe University, where he is now taking on his Masters.
He is excited for opportunities with GIANT Tennis and keen to put his studies into practice, coaching, and developing exercise programs for GIANT Squad students.
Keeley first started playing tennis at the age of 4 and worked her way up to competing in National Level events, and participating as a member of the Evonne Goolagong development program. She has previously coached with the Bendigo Tennis Academy whilst undertaking studies in Physical Education teaching. Keeley is passionate about passing on the joys of Tennis to hot shots level and indigenous students, with long term goals of teaching PE in the Northern Territory.
Taine is a GIANT Squad graduate, with a strong fitness and work ethic. Predominantly coaching students at our South Bendigo venue, he loves contributing to the development of younger players.
Aside from tennis and coaching, Taine is a very talented runner and also currently studying Medicine!
Katie has played tennis for over 10 years, just recently completing VCE and the Tennis Australia Foundation Coaching Course. She will be working along side our senior coaches to further develop her coaching skills and is keen to meet and have fun with all of the GIANT Tennis students, with longer term career goals aimed at helping people improve themselves in the sports and/or health industry.
Tanika has played tennis for over ten years, having progressed through the GIANT Tennis coaching and squad programs. She is super lovely with our little GIANTS and continually growing in confidence as she regularly teaches "the GIANT way" under the guidance of Brandt and Aidan.
Georgia has been an enthusiastic squad member and loyal GIANT Student for a number of years. Currently undertaking her VCE studies, she is keen to learn from our senior coaches, and excited for the challenges as she works to support the development of our young players on their GIANT Tennis journey.
With nearly 10 years of tennis playing experience under her belt, Shoni is a talented and motivated student and squad member. She's eager to pass on the joys of tennis and help others improve, whilst also developing her own coaching skills under the guidance of our senior GIANT coaching team.
Hailing from a tennis playing family, Laura is a long time student, with Hot-Shots coaching experience among the many strings to her bow. In addition to academic and creative talents, she is genuinely lovely and keen to share the joys of tennis with our little GIANTs, as she assists our Senior Coaches.
Jacob is a talented junior player and ex GIANT Squad member, who is relishing in the challenge of teaching our little GIANTs. He is currently working at our Strathfieldsaye and Bendigo District RSL locations.
Chelsea is a passionate and dedicated player with an aggressive baseline game, currently working her way up the Australian tennis rankings. Between her training and tournament schedule, you'll find her sharing her talents with our GIANT students in Castlemaine.
Ella has long enjoyed the community tennis club and local competition vibe at Woodend Tennis Club. A recent move to Castlemaine however, now sees her enjoying an impact on a diverse range of students, as she coaches our Castlemaine GIANTs.
Mikayla is a senior member of our GIANT+ Squad, who has played and enjoyed tennis her entire life. She is keen to pass on her love for tennis, whilst encouraging our little GIANTs to be the best they can be.
