Aidan is a co-founder and Director of GIANT Tennis, and the Head of Coaching.
Aidan has extensive experience in all levels of tennis coaching from Hot Shots program to traveling and coaching young people on the junior Australian Pro Tour. Aidan is a Tennis Australia certified Club Master Professional coach, Cardio Tennis and ANZ Tennis Hot Shots approved coach. Aidan played College Tennis in the USA, toured Europe playing tournaments and has achieved high level results in singles and doubles. Aidan through his playing and coaching experiences, has developed our programs to ensure current methodologies and all GIANT Tennis students have a vision to reach their personal tennis goals.
Brandt is a co-founder and Director of GIANT Tennis.
He has extensive experience in all levels of tennis coaching, from the Hot Hits program to squad and tournament play students. Brandt is an Australian Tennis Professional Coaches Association (ATPCA) Advance Professional Level 2 Tennis Coach. Bachelor Degrees in Business and Computing also hold in him good stead to manage the administration of GIANT Tennis.
Brandt has also played and coached senior football over a 13 year career, which brings a lot of experience on and off the court to GIANT Tennis.
Steve is a Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach, entering his 40th year of professional tennis coaching! He is a well respected and proficient member of the Bendigo coaching scene, having coached at the BTA for the past 21 years.
Highlights over that time include coordinating 10 tennis camps to the Gold Coast and taking a touring team to France in 2016.
Steve is looking forward to developing his coaching skills as he joins GIANT Tennis and continuing with his positive influence on the development of local students.
Paul has played tennis within country Victoria for many years and just recently completed his Tennis Australia qualifications. Paul has coached at the South Bendigo Tennis Club for a number of years, and is keen to pass on the latest teaching methods to students at GIANT Tennis.
In addition to his Bachelor of Accounting and nearing the end of his Chartered Accountant course, Corbin holds an ATPCA Advanced Professional Level 2 Tennis Coaching qualification. Having enjoyed tennis his entire life, he boasts a wealth of playing experience, from local rep squads to state level competition and representation, including captaining his Pizzey Cup Team. Corbin has also played many years, and recently coached a season of local senior football, so brings a range of skills and expertise to the GIANT Coaching team.
Kieran has been a Tennis Australia certified Club Coach for a number of years. He has been the head coach at South Bendigo, where he was instrumental in building student interest and capacity to make it an active and popular club. Kieran has taken a step back, but will continue to be involved with South Bendigo TC and will assist and provide expertise and experience to the GIANT Tennis program in the years to come.
Jordan started playing tennis at the age of 13 and has developed his power game to become one of Bendigo's top male players, leading South Bendigo to the 2018/2019 Premier League title.
Jordan has coached with the Bendigo Tennis Academy for the past 4 years, and is currently studying Exercise Science at Latrobe University. He is excited for new opportunities with GIANT Tennis and keen to put his studies into practice, coaching and developing exercise programs for students as he helps lead the GIANT Squad programs in 2020.
Keeley first started playing tennis at the age of 4 and worked her way up to competing in National Level events, and participating as a member of the Evonne Goolagong development program.
She has been coaching with the Bendigo Tennis Academy whilst undertaking studies in Physical Education teaching. Keeley is passionate about passing on the joys of Tennis to hot shots level and indigenous students, with long term goals of teaching PE in the Northern Territory.
Eloise has a fun and enthusiastic approach to playing and teaching tennis, making us glad she’s chosen to relocate from Gippsland to pursue her Paramedic studies in Bendigo. Taking up tennis at age 11, her ‘hit & giggle’ approach soon earned her places in the Bairnsdale and East Gippsland Representative Squads, and later a coaching role under Aidan at the Bairnsdale TC. She’s excited to again be assisting Aidan to help improve the tennis experiences of GIANT Tennis students.
Katie first started playing Tennis 9 years ago, participating in squads and originally coached by Kieran, she is now a keen GIANT Tennis student. Katie recently completed VCE and the Tennis Australia Foundation Coaching Course. She will be working along side our senior coaches to further develop her coaching skills and is keen to meet and have fun with all of the GIANT Tennis students, with longer term career goals aimed at helping people improve themselves in the sports and/or health industry.
Tanika has played tennis for over ten years, initially coached by Kieran and progressing to the GIANT Tennis coaching and squad programs. She is super lovely with our little GIANTS and continually growing in confidence as she regularly teaches "the GIANT way" under the guidance of Brandt and Aidan.
Tristin recently completed the Tennis Australia Foundation Coaching Course, and has joined the GIANT Tennis Coaching Team to support our senior coaches at our Castlemaine venue. With personal goals of being a pro tennis player, he is thrilled to be able to give back to the Tennis Club and Community that has supported him since taking up Tennis at age 9.
Jackson is a keen and talented GIANT Tennis student who is eager to experience our programs from "the other end of the court". Assisting Aidan at South Bendigo this term, he is excited for the opportunity to pass on the enjoyment and satisfaction he gets from tennis, to other young GIANT Tennis students.
